MIMIT presents Taranto investment pipeline worth more than 2 billion euros around former Ilva site

According to MIMIT, the proposed investments span at least eight sectors. Potential sites include about 170 hectares within the former Ilva perimeter, of which 140 hectares have already been remediated, alongside port and former military land. The Taranto working group will still determine the final availability of sites and whether extraordinary permitting measures are needed.
